สายรุ้ง พจน์ขุนทด ยายของข้าพเจ้า ผู้เคยมีตัวตนอยู่บนโลกใบนี้แต่กลับไม่มีสิ่งใด
ที่บันทึกหรือยืนยันการมีอยู่ของยายข้าพเจ้า มีเพียงสิ่งเดียวคือเลือดเนื้อของข้าพเจ้าเอง
ผู้สร้างสรรค์ออกเดินทางตามหาสายรุ้งรวบรวมความทรงจำจากหลายคำบอกเล่าประสบการณ์กับความทรงจำที่ถูกฝังกลบทับถมไว้ด้วยเวลา ถูกรื้อถอนการประกอบสร้างใบหน้าที่เลือนรางจากแต่ละความทรงจำ ผ่านความโยงใยของประสบการณ์ร่วมกับ
ความเชื่อในพื้นที่ ที่ไม่อาจจับต้องได้แต่ก็รู้ว่ามีอยู่ เช่นเดียวกับสายรุ้ง
ฝุ่นละอองความทรงจำที่ร่วงโรยผ่านเวลาสายรุ้งที่ข้าพเจ้าเคยเห็นแต่ไม่เคยได้รู้ว่าสายรุ้งนั้นอยู่แห่งหนใด
Finding the Rainbow
” Rainbow, Grandmother, Mother, Sister, or merely droplets of water drifting through light, reflecting in the eye.”
Sairung Photkhunthot , my grandmother, once existed in this world, yet nothing remains to record or confirm her presence. The only proof of her existence is within my blood. The creator embarks on a journey to find her Sairung , gathering memories from various recollections—fragments of the past buried beneath layers of time. These memories are unearthed and reconstructed into a faint visage, pieced together through the interwoven experiences of those who remember. Like a belief in an intangible space—something unseen but known to exist—the rainbow becomes a symbol of ephemeral presence.
The dust of memories fades with time, much like a rainbow I have seen but never truly known where it resides.

สารคดีเรื่อง Finding The Rainbow เป็นเรื่องราวของสายรุ้งบุคคลที่ไม่เคยถูกบันทึกด้วยภาพถ่าย สายรุ้งเป็นยายของผู้สร้างสรรค์ ครั้งหนึ่งเคยถามถึงยายสายรุ้งกับแม่ แม่ก็เล่าว่ายายนั้นเสียชีวิตตั้งแม่เกิด ไม่มีโอกาสที่จะได้เห็นหน้าแม่ของตนเอง ยายสายรุ้งไม่เคยถูกบันทึกด้วยภาพถ่ายแม้แต่ใบเดียว เหลือเพียงความทรงจำของคนที่เคยรู้จักยายสายรุ้ง นำเสนอเป็นสารคดี เรื่องเล่าของยายสายรุ้งจากความทรงจำของคนที่เคยรู้จัก ศึกษากระบวนการสร้างภาพ จากความทรงจำ สารคดีนี้เป็นส่วนประกอบของกระบวนการสร้างภาพที่สามารถระบุตัวตนของยายสายรุ้งที่ไม่เคยถูกบันทึกไว้
The story of rainbow. In Thai “Rainbow” can be translated as “สายรุ้ง” (Sairung), Sairung is a name of my grandmather, Sairung who have never been captured in photographs, When i was young , I ask my mathor about who my grandmathor was, My mother told me that my grandmother passed away since she was born. My mother has never seen her mother, Sairung was never captured in a photograph, not even once, All that remains are the memories of those who once knew Sairung, Presented as a documentary, The storytelling of Sairung from the memories of those who once knew her. This documentary is part of the process of creating images from memories, Create an image that can identify Grandma Sairung.
