ในช่วงเวลาที่คอสเพลย์ค่อย ๆ เคลื่อนเข้าสู่กระแสหลัก ภาพลักษณ์ของชุมชนและกลไกตลาดปรากฏชัดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ภายใต้กระบวนการเดียวกันนี้ วัฒนธรรมย่อยอย่างคอสเพลย์สาย 18+ เติบโตขึ้นควบคู่กัน แม้จะตั้งอยู่บนโครงสร้างชุมชนและระบบเศรษฐกิจที่ใกล้เคียงกับกระแสหลัก แต่ระดับของการเปิดเผยที่ถูกจัดวางในพื้นที่นี้ได้ก่อให้เกิดความแตกต่างในเชิงสถานการณ์และบทบาท พื้นที่ดังกล่าวจึงมิได้เป็นเพียงการจำลองตัวละคร หากเป็นกระบวนการของการทำงาน การประกอบสร้างตัวตน และการดำเนินกลไกทางเศรษฐกิจที่หล่อหลอมอัตลักษณ์ภายในชุมชนขึ้นมา โปรเจคนี้บันทึกพื้นที่ดังกล่าวผ่านรายละเอียดของสภาพแวดล้อม เหตุการณ์ และช่วงเปลี่ยนผ่านของกิจกรรม ติดตามสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นภายในชุมชน รวมถึงการสร้างตัวตนและการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้คนที่เคลื่อนไหวอยู่ภายในพื้นที่ดังกล่าว

As cosplay gradually moves into the mainstream, the public image of the community and its market mechanisms have become increasingly visible. Within this same process, the 18+ branch of cosplay culture has grown alongside it. Although it rests upon community structures and economic systems similar to those of the mainstream, the level of curated exposure within this space creates distinct situational dynamics and roles. This space, therefore, is not merely a reproduction of fictional characters, but a process of labor, identity construction, and economic operation that shapes and molds identities within the community. This project documents this space through detailed observations of environments, events, and transitional moments within activities. It follows the various situations that unfold within the community, including the formation of identities and the participation of individuals who move and operate within this space.
